I DID A CHATGPT SEARCH LOOKING FOR A RECORD.
I had a project — 369. It existed as files on a hard drive. I wanted it to exist as a record. One real copy I could hold.
So I did what anybody would do. I asked ChatGPT where I could get vinyl made.
And it turned out two of the companies were right here in Asheville.

I've always had this thing about going backward.
Not because I think the past was better.
Because sometimes we leave something behind before we realize what it was worth.
I've wanted to run things back.
Take the digital thing… and make it physical again.
Take the VHS… and save it.

Take the book… and print it.
Take the photographs… and put them somewhere your kids can actually hold them.

I ALREADY DID THIS.
Years ago, I had an Ascension pop-up in Venice Beach.
And one of the things I wanted people to experience was a wall of vintage VHS tapes.
Physical memories.
Old movies.
Old recordings.
Old technology.
Things people had forgotten they owned.
I taught my kids how to go analog.
Not because I wanted them to reject technology.
Because I wanted them to understand that there was a world before everything became a file.
THIS PART IS REAL.
A guy made a song about his dog.
His name is Lion Laguna. The project is God Is Dog. The band is The Holy Howlers.
It started as a joke. It became a record. Then a book. Then a merch store.
That is not a hypothetical. That already happened.
And that is the whole idea: you make something — even a song about your dog — and then you make it real. Records. Books. Merch. Whatever it is.
