THE MAN’S GUIDE TO WOO-WOO SHIT
The easiest way to explain “woo-woo” to a guy who wants something he can actually picture is to start with something the body already understands.
Your body is not just meat, bones, and a brain.
You already know your body can build up pressure, energy, and sensation and then release it.
You understand ejaculation.
You don’t have to understand every part of what happens inside your body to know something real happened.
Spiritual awakening can be explained in a similar way.
There is a whole tradition that says the body can build up a different kind of energy — not sexual energy exactly, but something that can feel physical.
It can feel like:
pressure → vibration → heat → movement → release
And for some people, they feel that movement along the spine.
It can start low in the body.
Then it can feel like something is moving upward.
Into the chest.
Into the throat.
Into the head.
Sometimes it feels like a wave.
Sometimes electricity.
Sometimes tingling.
Sometimes pressure.
Sometimes it feels like something is opening.
And sometimes the sensation seems to move back down.
Here’s the part guys can understand
Think about what happens when you have a huge buildup of energy.
You don’t sit there thinking:
“I wonder if this is metaphysically real.”
You feel it.
Your body knows something is happening.
That’s the doorway into understanding this stuff.
The spiritual traditions are basically saying:
Your body can have powerful waves of energy and awareness that you don’t normally notice.
Most people are living from the neck up.
They’re thinking.
Working.
Scrolling.
Eating.
Fucking.
Sleeping.
Repeat.
Then something happens.
Meditation.
Breathwork.
A psychedelic experience.
Trauma releasing.
Deep love.
Grief.
Music.
Nature.
Some massive life change.
And suddenly you become aware of your body from the inside.
You notice things that were always happening that you weren’t paying attention to.
Your heartbeat.
Your breath.
Your nervous system.
Your spine.
Your stomach.
Your pelvis.
Your chest.
Your head.
And sometimes you experience a wave moving through the whole system.
That’s the “woo-woo” part.
You don’t have to immediately call it God.
You don’t have to call it Kundalini.
You don’t have to call it energy.
First, just notice it.
Something is happening in your body.
Then you can ask:
What the fuck is this?
And that’s where the spiritual journey begins.
The simplest version
Sexual energy: build → build → build → release
What people describe in spiritual awakening: sensation → buildup → movement → expansion → release → deeper awareness
Different thing.
Similar idea:
The body can hold more energy and sensation than you realized.
And maybe the biggest shift isn’t that something new entered your body.
Maybe you finally became awake enough to notice what was already there.
